Dr. Razi Saydjari began his medical career as a military surgeon at F.E.
Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Today, his general surgery
practice at Mountain View Regional Hospital is top notch. He has been
practicing for over 30 years and specializes in critical care surgery.
Prior to coming to Mountain View Regional Hospital, he was in private practice
in Skowhegan, Maine for 17 years. Dr. Saydjari is highly respected by
his peers and his patients will attest to how personable and kind he and
his staff are. He is genuinely concerned for the well being of his patients
and when it comes to complicated cases, he is passionate about finding
the correct diagnosis. He is amazed by the beauty of human anatomy and
physiology and it shows in his dedication and commitment to his work.
He has been published in medical journals and other publications over 30 times.
Razi and his wife Cheryl, who is an RN and works in his office, have 2
grown children. Their son, Greg, is serving in the military as a 2nd Lieutenant
and is stationed at Ft. Drum, New York. Their daughter, Zara, is completing
her master’s degree in criminal justice and homeland security at
the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Rounding out this family
is Jackson, a Jack Russell terrier. Dr. Saydjari is an avid musician and
enjoys fishing and hiking. He is fascinated by meteorology and was a “typhoon
chaser” in the Air Force before attending medical school.
