Joel Michael Pull, MD

Dr. Pull is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine as a Family Practice Physician. He is also board certified by the State Board of Medicine in both Wyoming and Minnesota. In addition, Dr. Pull is certified in Advanced Pediatric, Advanced Cardiac and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, as well as a certified Federal Aviation Administration examiner and certified DOT CDL examiner. Dr. Pull spent 32 years serving in the U.S. Army under the Medical Corps. He served three tours in Iraq and reached the rank of Colonel. He has also served as a military Liaison officer in Big Horn County, has been an active part of the Big Horn County Search & Rescue, has practiced in several outreach clinics in the Big Horn Basin and has served as a Migrant Health volunteer.


Dr. Pull is originally from North Dakota. He started out training to be an anesthesiologist, but became passionate about primary care because of its reach into the many different areas of medicine. Dr. Pull has been practicing medicine for 21 years, with five of those years being in private practice. His specialty areas are pediatrics, women’s health, geriatrics, diabetes, preventative medicine, pre-operative assessment, sports medicine and minor surgery. He moved to Wyoming because of its rural appeal. In joining the Mountain View Regional Hospital & Clinic team, Dr. Pull believes he can apply everything he has learned and experienced with utmost confidence to the patients here at Mountain View. He plans to continue Mountain View Regional Hospital’s mission to provide the highest quality care and professional service for all patients.


Dr. Pull graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1993, and completed his Family Medicine residency at Minot Center for Family Medicine in Minot, North Dakota in 1996. He loves hunting and enjoys spending time with his family.
