Dr. Anje Kim is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon specializing in degenerative,
oncologic and infectious diseases of the spine. She also specializes in
true minimally invasive procedures on the spine. Dr. Kim attended medical
school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine before completing
her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and licensed
to practice in Minnesota, Virginia, California and Wyoming. She is a past
fellow in Neurological Spine Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center
and served as the Director of Neurotrauma at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Kim joined the elite team of surgeons at Mountain View Regional Hospital
in May of 2013 after serving as a staff physician in Neurological Surgery
with Healthpartners Medical Group in Saint Paul, MN. Dr. Kim knows what
it is like to be a patient and to be the family member of a patient and
treats her patients as if she were one of them. She takes pride in always
being completely honest with her patients and is very detail-oriented
and meticulous, both professionally and personally.
Dr. Kim is the mother of a young son and enjoys watching him grow and learn.
On long weekends, she takes him to San Diego, California to visit her
family so they have the opportunity to enjoy him, too. She loves Korean
barbecue and travelling and is a classically trained musician.
