Patient Financial Information
Our physicians and business office will work closely with you to maximize
any benefits you may have for coverage. We will also help you identify
co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay balances which you, the patient or
guardian, are responsible to pay upon your admission to the hospital.
On the date of or before you receive services at Mountain View Regional
Hospital, you will be asked to pay your:
- Deductible and/or
- Self-Pay payment
As a patient, please understand that you are responsible for payment of
your healthcare services.
Your Payment Options
- Cash — Mountain View Regional Hospital accepts payment by cash or check.
- Credit Cards — We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card
- Pay Full Balance — No interest within 30 days after you receive your
Payment Arrangements: Mountain View Regional Hospital offers payment options
at 14% interest on balances over 30 days.

Mountain View Regional Hospital’s Department of Patient Financial
Services bills for the technical services and procedures performed at
the hospital. Examples of these services include lab work, inpatient,
and outpatient services.

Patient Financial Advocates
Our patient financial advocates are here to help you on a variety of services
related to billing. They can provide cost estimates, set up payment plans,
advise on the availability of financial assistance, or help answer questions
regarding insurance plans. Call (307) 995-8100.

Mountain View Regional Hospital’s billing department is located offsite,
so please feel free to contact them via telephone at (307) 995-8100.
We accept credit card, check, cash and/or money order as payment. Credit
cards may be taken over the phone for patient convenience.
The hospital will bill your insurance carrier directly for services incurred
in the hospital. You are responsible for all patient co-pays, coinsurances,
and deductibles. You will be billed directly for those amounts, or requested
to pay them at the time of service. If you have any questions regarding
insurance coverage, please contact your insurance provider directly. Your
insurance provider will be able to tell you if they cover a specific treatment
or procedure. Mountain View Regional Hospital accepts and bills all insurances,
even if we are not in network providers.
Procedures Not Covered by Insurance
If you have a non-covered procedure, or do not have health care coverage,
please contact our Patient Financial specialists to discuss an estimate,
as well as payment arrangements.
Pre-Certification or Prior Authorization
Many health insurance plans have pre-certification or prior authorization
requirements for specific services. Information about these requirements
are usually listed on the back of your health care insurance card. Please
refer to your card, your benefits handbook, or contact the customer service
section of your health plan, to inquire about your responsibility to complete
Bills from Other Providers of Service
You make also receive separate bills from other providers of professional
services. Examples of these services include radiology interpretation,
pathology interpretation, surgeon, and anesthesiology services. You will
need to contact those providers directly if you have any questions.
